After six weeks of dithering, I've decided not to decide what to do in Madagascar yet. I have a plane ticket, some cash, a new credit card, a new passport, a visa and a hotel -- Hôtel Sakamanga (in a room overlooking the garden). I'm ready to go.
It's been years since I did a trip this way, but I'm just going to fly into Antananarivo and make contact with people there. I'll talk to them to plan and arrange my month in Madagascar. I love traveling like this!
It's a new word for me "dither," but i love the word when you were describing the thrills before a long travel!
ReplyDeletelol...YEP! "dither" means "I can't decide." It's almost my religion.
ReplyDeleteTime is gonna put an end to dithering because I'm going to have to make some decisions, and real soon. But there is a certain pleasure in having all the options open....at least for a while. Almost sounds like Roland Barthes...
